I’m always excited to share my favorite wedding day memories here with you. Most recently, I’ve been thinking about how our wedding day truly represented Phil and I as people – especially our creative sides.  As a fashion illustrator and producer, it was important to me that our wedding day embraced memorable, artistic touches that really told a story. And since Phil also lives and breathes all things creative (after all, we met when I auditioned for his band!) our wedding was definitely a combined creative vision.

Get ready for another long wedding post–I just can’t help myself!  Phil and I had so much fun reliving our wedding reception by going through our countless photos by Katrina Jayne and at a certain point, it became impossible to narrow them down any further. Rounding up some of our favorite shots here! Our reception felt like it was right out of a fairytale and we are so thankful to our venue, McCkormick Home Ranch, for helping to curate the chic look  with rustic elements that we were dreaming about.

I can’t believe I have been engaged for one day shy of a month now (not that anyone is counting!).  After my surprise engagement to my amazing boyfriend, Phil Galanty, during the holidays, I felt like I was floating.  Phil proposed to me while we were visiting family on the east coast and from that moment on, everyone was asking us if we had picked our wedding date yet.  Let the record show that although we are getting closer to figuring out exactly when this fabulous shindig is going down, we have yet to pick the exact date.

I have, however, spent countless hours on my new wedding pinterest board (talk about a new addiction), pinning some of my favorite looks to get inspired for the big day.  Above, I have put together some of my favorite pieces so far for your viewing pleasure.  Right now, I am loving elegant backs on wedding dresses, vibrant flowers and an overall vintage, romantic feel.  As for the rest of our wedding planning, we can’t wait to nail down more solid plans stat! More information to follow as we continue to get our act together!

Pre-wedding ceremony

This weekend, I had the pleasure of attending a wedding for my friends Alex and Jenny. The event was held at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California. The venue is stunning–it’s a beautiful Spanish-style mansion set in the middle of the mountains. Fashion-wise for the wedding, I paired a green Tory Burch purse with a blue BCBG dress and Michael Kors heels. Excited to share a photo recap of the fabulous evening with you today:
