Tonight, I had the pleasure of attending an uber-classy event at Tiffany and Co in Beverly Hills featuring my friend, Aimee Song, of the Song of Style blog. She is currently traveling the country, helping to promote the Tiffany Atlas Jewelry Collection and this was her west coast stop. Here is a photo recap of the evening:
In a couple of weeks, my boyfriend and I will be traveling to Europe on vacation (or technically in two weeks and three days but who’s counting?). We will be visiting Berlin, Copenhagen, London and Paris and we could not be more excited. I’m on a mission to find a happy medium: comfy, supportive and chic shoes for our travels. Although these are not the easiest shoes to find, I’ve found a few so far which I’m really excited about, such as:
(A) Tory Burch Mae Booties. These booties do have a heel but they’re actually comfortable. I’m thinking they’re a great shoe for walking to dinner when we’re in Europe. Don’t get me wrong, I won’t be wearing them to walk around all day, but they’re so classic that I think they’re a great investment, not to mention uber-chic.
(B) I’m also loving the colorful Nike Free Run Sneakers. They’re not at all fancy of course but I will definitely be bringing cute sneakers like these because they’re so comfy and practical!
(C) These Modern Vice Jett Classics are really classic and comfortable for travel. They do not have a heel so they are great for walking around in style and I can’t wait to snag a pair.
(D) I just bought myself a pair of these Jeffrey Campbell ‘Everly’ Booties and I could not be more excited to rock them in Europe. They are made of soft leather and I love the trendy cut-outs because they are versatile and cool enough for hot summer weather.
(E) I love London Sole Ballet Flats because they are so comfy, casual and practical. For this reason, I believe they are perfect to wear in cities like Paris and London.
(F) I think these Sperry Top Siders will be my go-to shoe for our trip this year. These shoes need some breaking in but I’ve been working on mine for weeks and they fit my feet like a glove. I especially love the arch support and the fact that I can wear them without socks and my feet still do not hurt at the end of the day.
This weekend, my RELish By Arielle collection of accessories and fashion illustrations were showcased in a pop-up art gallery in downtown Los Angeles. I’m so thankful to have been able to share the evening with some really great friends who came out to support. Pictured above (right to left) are the uber-talented singer/fashionista, Carol Gang, fashionsta, Dani Song, and Dani’s fabulous sister, Aimee Song, of the incredible blog, Song of Style.Above, some gallery-goers showcase their new RELish rings. I also had so much fun selling other RELish By Arielle accessories like these one-of-a-kind “RELish Your Charms” bracelets (above, bottom right) sold in individual pillow boxes. I am so lucky to have the most amazing, supportive boyfriend, Phil Galanty, who comes out to support me no matter what. He helped me showcase numerous RELish Fashion Illustrations. I’ve included some of my favorite pieces here:
I’m excited to be a featured artist this weekend in a Downtown Los Angeles art show called “A Vagrancy Happening.” It will be a pop-up Art Gallery Extravaganza for the Award Winning LA-based theater company, ‘The Vagrancy.’
If you are LA-based and are looking for something fun to do Saturday night (and if you love wine and cheese bars), come and join us. I will be selling a huge collection of framed RELish By Arielle original fashion illustrations, as well as tons of original accessories. Entry is “pay what you can.” The event runs from 6pm-10pm.
