Blogging away from a very rainy and chilly New York City. I’m still here on a production shoot and am moving onto another series that will be taking place near the Jersey Shore. I haven’t been to the Jersey Shore area since I was a kid and our entire family used to vacation there so I’m excited for the adventure. I’m hoping for some fist-pumping and GTL.
I’ve been on the east coast for the past week shooting a series for work. I haven’t had the opportunity to film in Manhattan since before I moved out to Los Angeles ten years ago and it’s been such an amazing experience to be back. There’s something about New York that has always made me come alive in a very different way than Los Angeles. The two cities are really apples and oranges even though the entertainment industry exists in both and of course one of the major differences is weather!
I can’t get enough of this hat that I scored a few weeks back at Target a few weeks back for less than $15.00 (I last wore it here). I’ve been pairing it with everything–from summer dresses to casual outfits like the one I’m wearing today.
Since my favorite material is lace, I’m always searching for new classic and versatile pieces to add into my collection. I’ve had this nude lace skirt for a few years now and I love that it is perfect for summer–and that it carries over into just about every other season too. I paired it today with my favorite crop top of the moment which I scored at Nasty Gal. I added nude wedges and gold jewelry accents.
