A friend of mine gave me these amazing Preen Sunglasses as a gift and they’ve become such a fun staple in my collection this summer. I love how their reflective lenses add an extra pop of color to any basic outfit and I love the dainty metallic lace around the rims.
I’ve been living in this wide-brimmed summer hat over the past few weeks and I’m so thankful I recently snatched it up at Target–especially since it was less than $15.00! As much as I love investing in classic staple pieces in my wardrobe, it’s just as important to mix high-end pieces with some which are low-end.
When it comes to earrings, I am a studs sort of girl all the way. Sure, I occasionally love to wear a dangly pair of earrings here and there but I often opt for earrings I can get away with day after day with any outfit (since I usually forget to take them off before bed). Today, I’m wearing Druzy Stud Earrings by Justine Brooks, a Canadian-based jewelry designer who I just can’t get enough of. Her line is full of raw, natural and precious materials that all add a bit of extra sparkle to any outfit. I paired these earrings with my white tweed jacket, nude pumps and collared shirt and I love that they add a little something extra. They are perfect for the office (where I’m wearing them today), and I look forward to snatching some up some more of these earrings in different colors soon.
Happy Friday! Today marks day #2 of my collaboration today with Marine Layer, an amazing company that makes the perfect tee in many different colors, as well as other pieces of comfy clothing. I love that each Marine Layer piece is softer than soft and that each is locally-made in San Francisco. I wore my classic white tee today tucked into high-waisted black cut-offs. To ring in the fall (even though it’s still 90 degrees in LA), I layered on my favorite light-weight Rebecca Minkoff Leather Jacket.
