Sharing one of my favorite recent sketches of a textured pink dress. I love one-shouldered looks and even though summer is now officially over, I can never have enough pink in my wardrobe.
I snapped the first photo above when I was visiting my family in upstate New York over the holidays. We decided to take a day trip to Saratoga, New York–a beautiful historic town known for it’s horse racing, cozy restaurants and beautiful old-world architecture.
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season! My fiance and I have spent the first portion of the holidays celebrating with his family in Los Angeles. He treated me to a box of brand new prisma colored markers yesterday and I can’t wait to sketch out a bunch of new illustrations with them. Above is my latest sketch which I had to draw really quickly because we’re headed back east tonight to celebrate the rest of the holidays with my family–can’t wait! More to come soon.
Happy almost holidays! It’s been a really busy few weeks in between Thanksgiving and the upcoming holidays and with all of the work piling up, gifts to buy and wedding planning, I haven’t had as much time as I would have liked for sketching. That said, I decided to make some time for the above sketch and challenged myself to draw a holiday gown in 10 minutes or less with prisma colored markers.
I can’t get enough of midi skirts this fall–and the bigger and more eye-popping, the better. This is where my inspiration for my latest fashion illustration came from today. I paired this voluminous midi skirt with a fuzzy blue sweater, stilettos and a fun head-piece. For more original fashion illustrations, please visit my online shop.
