Three more sleeps until 2021 and I’m still stuck somewhere in May of 2020. Anybody else?! This year was bizarre, uncertain and somehow, the fastest I’ve ever experienced. While we can’t go out safely this year to celebrate, New Year’s glam does not have to be canceled! We can still get dressed up to ring in the New Year in style. Sharing New Years Eve outfit inspo with you today–from comfy sparkly pieces to dresses I’m loving.  All of these pieces can be styled in chic ways for the rest of 2021 too.

I hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th weekend! This was the hottest weekend I can remember since living in Los Angeles for over a decade. It was 115 degrees on Saturday in the valley and we felt like we were basically living on the sun. Thankfully, we spent the 4th cooling off at a friend’s beautiful pool. After that, though, Naiya and I ended up getting sick. This was Naiya’s second horrible cold and my first time being sick at the same time as she was. By Sunday, I could barely peel myself out of bed, let alone change dirty diapers and nurse her. Needless to say, it was kind of the worst. In better news, sharing some photos of a must-have boho top I’m loving for summer from before I was down for the count.

#stickingittobullies with my favorite Paul Mitchell Hair Dryer.

It’s no secret that I have big hair–I’ve had it my whole life.  I even earned the nickname “short puff” back in middle school when I used to wear my curls in a giant poof on top of my head because I did not yet know how to properly tame them. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to appreciate my curls so much more (thanks to hair products that keep the curls in check!). I love that curly girls are able to get the best of both worlds: we can wear our #bighairdontcare loud and proud and we can also switch it up to get blow-outs that leave us with silkier locks (which often have lots of volume!).

I’m always on a quest for styling tools that help me to keep my hair healthy and looking as good as possible so naturally, I’ve fallen completely in love with a line of products that does just that.

Today was one of those days where I looked in my closet, rummaged through all of my clothes and came to the conclusion that I had absolutely nothing to wear. I don’t know about you but no matter how many clothes are in my closet at any given time, this happens to me at least a few times a week. Today, I’m sharing an easy solution to this problem that can help you to revamp the clothes you already own in just a few minutes without spending any extra moolah.

Since my hubby and I met when I auditioned for his Los Angeles-based band, music will forever be a special part of our relationship. Whenever we go to concerts, we tend to geek out and by buy band tees. We have a special rule though: we never buy the same exact styles so that we won’t ever actually match (that’s apparently where we’ve decided to draw the geeky line!). When he bought me this Radio Head tee a few weeks ago, I was excited to add it to my collection and dress it both up and down.
