Fall is finally in the air in LA and I couldn’t be happier. Yesterday was cloudy with small pockets of rain and the air felt cooler than it has in months. I celebrated by breaking out my favorite trench coat I scooped up from Zara earlier this year.
Since moving out to Los Angeles, I’ve increasingly become a fan of wearing all white all year round–even after Labor Day. It’s so warm here and I think white is sleek and classic–it would be such a shame to tuck my whites away for half of the year.
Ever since I cleaned out my closet a few weeks back and donated a large portion of my wardrobe, I’ve been on the hunt for versatile, comfy denim shorts to add back in.
Happy Monday, Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. This weekend, I had a chance to spend some time continuing to clean out my closet using my favorite book of the moment, “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up” (more about my experience here). As I’ve shared before, I can’t get enough of this book because it teaches you a bunch of hacks for cleaning up, purging and organizing your space that really make sense. Sharing a look today inspired by a basic boyfriend shirt that continues to bring me joy. Almost everything else had to go!
THE LOOKS: There are so many looks for summer that are inspiring my wardrobe at the moment. For starters, I can’t stop dreaming about the above Chloe bag in blush–or in any color for that matter. I love how versatile and classic it is and I would love to add it to my wardrobe stat. I’m also loving distressed denim shorts right now–especially the Rag & Bone pair above. Denim shorts like these are such a great addition to any summer wardrobe because they’re effortlessly chic and can be dressed up or down so flawlessly.
