CORONAVIRUS: HOW ANXIOUS SHOULD WE BE?

Los Angeles blogger, RELish By Arielle wears a striped sweater and black vintage jeans from made well

We snapped these photos a few weeks ago when Sadie and I had a date at the beautiful Beverly Hills Hotel. It was a couple of days before I went back to work from maternity leave and I remember feeling so nervous!  At that point, I hadn’t been away from Sadie for more than an hour or two here and there and I was trying to wrap my head around what our new normal might look like. Looking back, it’s crazy that at this point, coronavirus was not yet a household name and that so much has changed in just a few short weeks. Likewise, along with rounding up our outfit details today, I’m sharing some ways our family is protecting ourselves against this scary virus in case this info helps any other anxious mamas out there.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

Los Angeles mom and fashion blogger, RELish By Arielle wears black and white

This weekend, I celebrated International Women’s Day for the first time as a mama of two girls. Thanks to Daylight Savings, I got an extra hour of snuggle time with my two minis yesterday morning.  I thought about how proud I am to be raising two girl bosses. I’m head over heels in love with being a girl mom and I can’t wait to see who these two grow up to be. Sharing some recent photos with my girls today as well as our outfits. Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we raise them. May we be them.

FOUR MONTHS IN WITH SADIE

I can’t believe it’s already almost March and Sadie is officially four months old. I feel like I’ve known her for a lifetime and for a minute all at the same time and I’m savoring her ever-growing rolls that are truly expanding by the second.  This month, Sadie truly grew exponentially. In fact, she may be one of the biggest four month olds I’ve ever seen. We learned today that she’s in the 97th percentile for height and weight and that she already weighs 18 pounds! I’m not sure what’s in my milk this time around but our pediatrician predicts she’ll be at least 5’9. Both of our girls may or may not be able to pick their mama up by kindergarten so I’m squeezing them in my arms while I still can.

5 THINGS I’M LOVING ABOUT MY GIRLS RIGHT NOW

I can’t believe I’m officially three months into being a mama of two girls under 2.5. Time has flown by SO much quicker with Sadie than it did with Naiya because my hands are so full with a non-stop toddler.  It’s been a wild ride with Sadie being hospitalized with RSV at three weeks old and a number of sleep regressions with Naiya. But overall, we’ve savored the last 12 weeks and I would love to freeze my girls in time just as they are. To celebrate getting through the fourth trimester in (almost) one piece, I’m sharing 5 things I’m loving about my girls right now as well as some of our favorite recent photos.

ON TUESDAYS, WE WEAR PINK

Los Angeles blogger, RELish By Arielle and her daughter share their matching pink outfits

I feel like life is moving a million miles per minute! In case you missed my recent article here, Naiya has officially turned one! We threw a unicorn party for her at a local park with close friends and family and I may or may not have gone completely overboard with decorations and gluten-free, sugar-free cake. Yeah–I totally became that mom. Sharing a recent mom and baby outfit post with you today that’s all about all pink everything. Can’t wait to share Naiya’s birthday photos soon!
