I can’t believe I’m officially three months into being a mama of two girls under 2.5. Time has flown by SO much quicker with Sadie than it did with Naiya because my hands are so full with a non-stop toddler. It’s been a wild ride with Sadie being hospitalized with RSV at three weeks old and a number of sleep regressions with Naiya. But overall, we’ve savored the last 12 weeks and I would love to freeze my girls in time just as they are. To celebrate getting through the fourth trimester in (almost) one piece, I’m sharing 5 things I’m loving about my girls right now as well as some of our favorite recent photos.
I feel like life is moving a million miles per minute! In case you missed my recent article here, Naiya has officially turned one! We threw a unicorn party for her at a local park with close friends and family and I may or may not have gone completely overboard with decorations and gluten-free, sugar-free cake. Yeah–I totally became that mom. Sharing a recent mom and baby outfit post with you today that’s all about all pink everything. Can’t wait to share Naiya’s birthday photos soon!
Experts say that if you think of fear and worry as raw energy, you can actually learn to redirect it toward a more productive use. Since I’ve noticed myself becoming increasingly stressed trying to balance it all as a full-time working mom, I’ve been thinking about this a lot recently. Likewise, if you’re looking for a way to channel your stress into something positive, this post is for you.
Every time Naiya turns another month old, I feel like I’ve only just blinked. The fact that she’s four months away from her first birthday absolutely blows my mind. Today, I’m sharing lessons learned from 8 months of motherhood, some of Naiya’s latest milestones and a spring dress I’m currently loving.
My hubby and I bought our first home right before Naiya was born. While we couldn’t be happier, the only downside is that my commute to work ended up doubling. There’s only so much music you can listen to for an hour-and-a-half each way and so many people you can call. When I went back to work after maternity leave, it was clear that I needed to find something that would keep me occupied during my super long drives. After asking everyone around me their favorite audiobooks and podcasts, I started downloading right away like it was my job. I’ve now become completely obsessed. Rounding up my favorites you need to know about today as well as details on behind my outfit of the day.
