Over the past few weeks of the quarantine, one of my go-to wardrobe staples have been oversized graphic tees. After all, I’ve officially graduated from the sweatpants I wore on repeat throughout the first few weeks of the shut-down. Sharing five graphic tees with you today that I’ve been living in and how I’m styling them. Topping off this post with some unpublished photos of Naiya from the week we found out we were prego with Sadie. She’s aged about 10 years in the quarantine so far so I’m especially loving looking back at these photos from before she was basically a teenager!
One of my first loves was for children’s books. As a kid, I vividly remember looking forward to bedtime every night because I’d get to listen to my parents narrate my favorite stories (in all the voices!). In doing so, they helped to instill in me a lifelong love for reading, writing and learning. Naturally, I’ve been trying to inspire Naiya and Sadie in a similar way.
Throughout the quarantine so far, I’ve kept a running list of the toys and crafts that have kept Naiya happy and entertained (and me sane!). Most days, I’m literally not sure what I’d do without them. Sharing our top 20 picks out of everything we’ve tried so far. It’s our hope that your toddlers will love them too (and that you’ll get at least five extra minutes of “me” time while they’re busy playing)! All of the product images below are clickable and I’m linking to everything at the bottom of this post too. Hope you’re all safe, healthy and hanging in there!
Sadie turned 6 months old this weekend. I know every mom says that time flies when it comes to her babies growing up but it zooms by in an especially crazy way when you’re stuck at home in quarantine. We celebrated Sadie with a sweet little unicorn party. Naiya helped me to set up a cake, unicorn cupcakes and she invited her favorite dolls. Sharing a look with you today that I wore for the occasion.
This quarantine has given me the opportunity to go through a bunch of outfit posts I prepped but for one reason or another but never posted. I took these photos the week I found out I was pregnant with Sadie. Soon after, I ended up getting the worst morning sickness that lasted until she was born and these shots got tabled along the way. I can’t believe how much has changed in our lives since this shoot. Looking at them makes me even more excited to get back to our lives out in the world. Sharing outfit details below as well as links to some of my favorite vintage-inspired dresses of the moment. After all, our first date nights post-quarantine are going to be an amazing occasion to dress up and put on some red lips.
