Happy Monday! We spent the weekend celebrating Phil’s birthday with our little family. This year was so much more fun than last year because we don’t feel as insanely sleep deprived as we did with a newborn! I remember that simply keeping our eyes open last year to sing ‘happy birthday’ felt like the biggest task. This year, we had a lot more energy and I loved being able to focus on my hubby who has become the most amazing dad. Excited to jump into a new week in one of my favorite fall dresses. Sharing where to snag it, a collaboration you can’t miss and how I styled the look below.
Topping off the week with a comfy casual look that I borrowed from Phil’s closet. When this Foo Fighters band tee shrunk just a tad in the dryer, Phil said that I could wear it. I have now “borrowed” it for a few weeks and it’s become one of my go to looks–especially on weekends. Since this tee was one of Phil’s favorites, it’s perfectly worn in and soft and I’ve already styled it in a number of different ways.
I’ve been really into midi skirts lately and today was no exception. I originally scooped up this silver skirt from Zara a few months back and I’ve loved dressing it up and down with sweaters, comfy tees, tanks and everything in between.
I love finding little pockets of Los Angeles that make me feel like I’ve traveled far away. I pass this beautiful home on my morning runs everyday that looks like a French Chateau. Its walls are covered in ivory and there are beautiful gardens surrounding it. My outfit today was inspired by this backdrop.
Happy Friday! It’s been such an exciting week. I started a new job I’m really excited about and I feel extremely lucky to have a new beginning to look forward to. Outfit-wise I decided to dress up today. I styled a nautical-inspired look for spring with a few of my favorite pieces.
