I hope everyone is having such a great holiday season! This is our first year celebrating the holidays with our nephew who was born a few weeks ago so spending time with him and the rest of my husband’s family has been especially fun. Of course he slept through most of the festivities but his parents were very happy about that.
This holiday season, I’m obsessing over velvet. Naturally, when I spotted this rose-colored bodysuit, I fell in love. It feels luxurious and looks beautiful on paired with pants and skirts. I especially love its flouncy sleeves. Today, I paired it with a very ’90’s-inspired look that kind of reminds me of the Spice Girls. I figured: why not channel some nostalgia in my wardrobe today? We almost made it through another year and I’m celebrating.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Excited to be back on the west coast after a quick holiday trip to upstate New York to visit family. Sharing travel outfit inspiration today using basic pieces that can be mixed-and-matched to create three different looks (without taking up too much room in your suitcase!).
Since my hubby and I met when I auditioned for his Los Angeles-based band, music will forever be a special part of our relationship. Whenever we go to concerts, we tend to geek out and by buy band tees. We have a special rule though: we never buy the same exact styles so that we won’t ever actually match (that’s apparently where we’ve decided to draw the geeky line!). When he bought me this Radio Head tee a few weeks ago, I was excited to add it to my collection and dress it both up and down.
I can’t believe how quickly this year is already flying and that my birthday is already this coming weekend. Last year at this time, Phil and I were putting the final touches on our wedding and this year, we’re about to celebrate our one year anniversary. What a difference a year makes!
