I had the privilege of speaking on a panel for Syracuse University recently and it was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had in a long time. I was able to chat with college juniors and seniors studying out here in LA for the semester as they geared up to apply for their first jobs. If these kids are any indication of our future, I left feeling like will be in great hands. They’re smart, they’re positive thinkers and they want to make a difference. Since I haven’t shared too much about my work life outside of RELish with you here, this particular panel inspired me to open up a bit more about it. So without further ado, today, I’m sharing my favorite secrets on how to nail your first job in Hollywood. If you read this and you do end up making it, I ask only that you continue to pay it forward, that you always stay humble and most importantly, that you hire Naiya as your assistant someday.
I’m so excited to finally share Naiya’s unicorn-themed first birthday photos with you today! Our little cutie had the best time running around a local park to celebrate her big day with her closest friends and family. If only this outfit would fit her for the next five years straight–I’d honestly be down! Also, do they make this in my size? Today, I’m sharing all of the party details and some tips we learned along the way to help you throw the ultimate first birthday party too. Get ready for a lengthy post! There were so many fun photos of Naiya, I honestly had trouble pairing them down!
I can’t believe how quickly time is flying and how big Naiya is already getting. She is six weeks old this week and she’s already almost ten pounds! Even though she’s not coming even close to sleeping through the night, I’m savoring every minute with her because I know how fleeting this time is. I’m so appreciative I’m able to have time off from work to focus solely on her and it already breaks my heart to know that after our little maternity leave bubble is over, our fast-paced lives will most likely pick up again.
Our daughter, Naiya Lennon officially turned two weeks old last night at 11:40 pm (not that anyone is counting!). I’m excited to finally share some hospital photos from her birthday since the past couple of weeks have been such a whirlwind and finding the time to post has not been the easiest. We are completely head over heels in love with our daughter and I keep having to pinch myself to remind myself that she’s ours (and I’m not dreaming!).
I’m so excited to share my first post since Phil and I have officially become parents! Our daughter, Naiya Lennon Galanty was born August 30th at 11:40pm at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles. She was 7 pounds and 21 inches of pure cuteness and she has completely melted our hearts. We are so in love and so exhausted at the same time and the past couple of weeks have been such a whirlwind. Naiya has already started to grow and change so much and she’s not even two weeks old yet. Time is already flying by and we’re trying our best to savor every minute.
