RELISH FASHION PRINTS FOR THE HOLIDAYS

As much as I love following fashion and trends of the moment and writing about them here on my blog, I equally enjoy drawing and painting to create designs of my own. I have made a bunch of holiday prints of my favorite fashion illustrations and paintings from 2013 and I’m excited to announce that they’re now on sale. If you’re looking for a fun DIY holiday gift this year for your favorite fashionista, check out my RELish shop or email me at aaworona@gmail.com if you’re looking for anything custom. Happy holidays!

Here are a few of my favorite prints so far:

I painted all of these fashion girls on a big canvas using acrylics. Although my favorite color to wear is black, I absolutely love using really bright colors when I paint and illustrate.

I drew these ladies with prisma colored markers--one of my favorite mediums. I love how the colors blend so well and pop.

I love the colors in this drawing. For these designs, I used pen, pencil and prisma colored markers.

These ladies in red are wearing gowns that I really want to construct someday soon because I would love to wear them myself. The look is really boho-chic and I see the fabrics as light and ethereal. To create the look, I used prisma colored markers.

Above, I’ve put together some of my favorite items I’m loving right now. I am loving the headband, belt and necklace on my list, because they are great statement pieces for the holiday season. I’m all about the sparkle right now, as long as it’s not too much. It’s important to wear these pieces with understated garments to they really pop.

The red dress above from Anthroplogie really caught my eye. I love that it’s such a glamorous maxi dress in a classic holiday color. I think the detailing is really girly and pretty and the frock is perfect for holiday parties.

As for the Vita Fede bracelet above, this is one designer I’ve become extremely excited about over the past few months. Each piece of jewelry from this collection, including the bracelets, are classy and understated with a bit of edge. For this reason, they are the types of bracelets you can wear with anything and they look great in layers.

The A-line mini skirt above has a really great cut to it. I tried it on a few weeks back and wish I had bought it because I’m still thinking about how great of an addition it would be to my wardrobe. I’ll keep it in mind for my next trip to Anthropologie for sure.

Last but not least, the pullover white sweater looks really comfy and cozy and even though I live in Los Angeles where it barely gets below 50 degrees in the winter, I am still a New Yorker at heart and I love to dress for the different seasons. This is a great piece that can be quite versatile–worn with leggings, skinny jeans, even a skirt. I love that you can dress it up with statement necklaces or layer it under your favorite leather jacket or blazer.
