Our fam is walking out of 2020 with the same determination that Sadie has in this photo. The biggest mazels to everyone for making it to the end of this unbelievable year. It stopped us all in our tracks and took our breath away. It taught us to slow down and savor the little things. It was scary, uncertain, uncomfortable and transformative. Millions of people suffered–both outwardly and silently. And perhaps the craziest part? The entire world was in it together. 2020 reminded us that our health is truly everything. Somehow, despite all of its countless hardships, 2020 flew by.

NAIYA’S (QUARANTINE) THIRD BIRTHDAY
I blinked and we officially have a three year old! I’m sure I sound like a broken record at this point but I truly can’t believe how quickly time is FLYING by with my girls. Also, the growth between ages 2 and 3 is truly mind-blowing! Last year at this time, Naiya was a baby who had just started nursery school and this year, she’s a non-stop talking tiny person (who is home with us all day during this global pandemic but of course, that’s another story!). Sharing photos today from our special, low-key birthday weekend together and a Naiya update below too. It wasn’t the birthday celebration we would have planned but since Naiya was smiling the entire time, it was definitely one for the memory books.
A LETTER TO MY BABIES FROM QUARANTINE
As Los Angeles continues to open up today after three months of quarantine, I’m anxiously awaiting what this will mean for us all. What will our new normal of social distancing look like post-lockdown and will we be able to keep COVID numbers down? We snapped these photos just outside of our home to commemorate this crazy time.
7 MONTHS IN WITH SADIE
And just like that, Sadie is 7-months old. Thanks to the quarantine and social distancing, I’ve blinked and here we are–more than halfway to one year with our sweet marshmallow. Sharing the latest and greatest on the Sadie front along with some Naiya highlights with you today.
5 THINGS I’M LOVING ABOUT MY GIRLS RIGHT NOW
I can’t believe I’m officially three months into being a mama of two girls under 2.5. Time has flown by SO much quicker with Sadie than it did with Naiya because my hands are so full with a non-stop toddler. It’s been a wild ride with Sadie being hospitalized with RSV at three weeks old and a number of sleep regressions with Naiya. But overall, we’ve savored the last 12 weeks and I would love to freeze my girls in time just as they are. To celebrate getting through the fourth trimester in (almost) one piece, I’m sharing 5 things I’m loving about my girls right now as well as some of our favorite recent photos.
