I’m so excited to share my first post since Phil and I have officially become parents! Our daughter, Naiya Lennon Galanty was born August 30th at 11:40pm at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles. She was 7 pounds and 21 inches of pure cuteness and she has completely melted our hearts.  We are so in love and so exhausted at the same time and the past couple of weeks have been such a whirlwind. Naiya has already started to grow and change so much and she’s not even two weeks old yet. Time is already flying by and we’re trying our best to savor every minute.

I’m excited to be teaming up with Paul Mitchell today to share a less than 10-minute sleek curls for curly hair tutorial, as well as a fun giveaway of some of my favorite products from their new fall Neuro line (enter to win here!). I have naturally curly hair and while I’ve grown to appreciate it more and more as I’ve gotten older, there are some days where I still love to switch it up for a sleeker look. My go-to place to get blow-outs is Dry Bar but whenever I don’t have time to swing by there, I straighten my hair myself at home (which is not the easiest task with this crazy mane!).

Hello, August 24, 2017! Phil and I have been dreaming of this day for what seems like forever because it’s our daughter’s official due date. Even though she’s not showing any new signs of coming out just yet, this still feels like such a special day and we’re so thankful to have made it here.  I’ve heard from so many other moms that first time moms usually go into labor late but I honestly can’t believe I’m still preggo!  We have our 40 week OB appointment today and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we find out some good news.

I didn’t have much of a bump until I was about 8-months preggo. For a long time, it looked like I had eaten too many burritos and I felt completely uncomfortable. And then, a few weeks ago, I woke up one morning and noticed my bump had seemingly popped out overnight. It was such a weird feeling but the best part about it was that I also noticed around this time that I feel our baby moving so much more.

One of my best friends recently tied the knot in the most beautiful fairytale wedding in Malibu. Before she knew we were pregnant, she had asked me to be one of her bridesmaids and I didn’t think twice before of course saying yes! As the months of our pregnancy passed by, while I couldn’t wait to be a part of her special day, it became increasingly real to me that I’d have to squeeze into a bridesmaid’s dress at over 8-months pregnant. As my bump continued to grow, I came to realize that this would not be as easy a task as I had thought back in my first trimester.
