My bump keeps popping by the day and I’ll be the first to admit: now that I’ve entered my third trimester of pregnancy, it’s getting harder and harder to keep up with it in terms of my wardrobe. Every morning before work, I look through my closet and try pairing pieces together that feel comfy and roomy enough but it’s not easy! Over the past week or so, I’ve noticed my outfit options getting smaller and smaller and I’m starting to have serious FOMO from the rest of my wardrobe that I’m bumping out of.
Sharing the second outfit of the day from our recent Baby Moon in Maui. During the day, the sun was really strong and temps were in the high 80’s but in the evening, it cooled down enough to layer up a bit. Thankfully, I packed this comfy tweed blazer that has since become one of my favorite pieces in my closet. I love its texture, fringe detail and bright colors.
Still blogging away from the chilly east coast but it’s been an amazing trip full of really exciting shoots. Posting a spring dress today that I can’t wait to wear again when I get back to the fabulously warmer weather of LA. So excited for some sunshine. I absolutely love this dress and know I’ll get a ton of use out of it this spring and summer. The best part is that it’s currently 40% off! It’s so comfy and I also love all of the fun details on the sleeves and trim.
I celebrated my birthday this past weekend and I jumped into the work week feeling relaxed and ready for a new year. My hubby planned the perfect day: a hike at Runyon Canyon with a few friends and lunch at our favorite neighborhood Mexican restaurant, El Coyote. The older I get, the more I savor days like this. As our friends are moving into new phases of their lives–getting married and having babies–gathering those closest to us all in one place is becoming more and more special.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend! After a couple weekends in a row of traveling and having family in town on my end, it was nice to have a low-key, laid back weekend with my hubby and friends. Since many of us are LA transplants, we celebrated our dads from a far. Summer is officially here in Los Angeles–it was over 100 degrees this weekend and we’re already melting.
