MUST-SEE MAUI SUNRISE

Sharing some more photos from our babymoon in Maui a few weeks ago (check out our other posts herehere and here) and these are some of my favorites. On the last full day of our trip, Phil and I woke up at 2am to drive to the summit of the Haleakala Volcano to watch the sunrise. Since my morning sickness was still really bad, we had decided to pass on driving Maui’s famous Road to Hana earlier in our trip and this was our substitute adventure.

CLASSIC BLACK ROMPER

Teaming up with Gray Monroe today to share a classic black romper I’ve been living in recently. I love that it’s not technically maternity but that it has such a comfy, loose fit. I also love that it’s wearable now, a couple of months down the road when my bump is sure to pop even more and hopefully after pregnancy too. Better yet, it’s currently on sale for just $30.00 so you can’t go wrong (pregnant or not!).

MUST-HAVE BABYMOON LOOK

As we were packing for our babymoon a few weeks ago, I realized right away that I was overpacking.  Aside from tossing a bunch of bathing suits into my suitcase, I couldn’t figure out how to pair down the rest of my outfits (which was not a good thing since Phil and I were sharing a suitcase!). If I could go back in time, I would have taken maybe 3-4 outfits out of my bag (making my hubby much happier) and I would have replaced them with this versatile dress.

SPRING SWING DRESS

Still blogging away from the chilly east coast but it’s been an amazing trip full of really exciting shoots. Posting a spring dress today that I can’t wait to wear again when I get back to the fabulously warmer weather of LA. So excited for some sunshine. I absolutely love this dress and know I’ll get a ton of use out of it this spring and summer. The best part is that it’s currently 40% off! It’s so comfy and I also love all of the fun details on the sleeves and trim.

WINTER FLORALS + LEATHER

Excited to finally see the sun in Los Angeles after what seems like weeks straight of rain! It’s been such a great winter for our crazy drought but selfishly, I’ve been missing our usual beautiful California weather. Hopefully it will be a much greener spring and summer! To celebrate the 70-something degree breeze today, I wore this comfy floral dress (similar here) (here) and (here). I was initially drawn to its bright color and cute little ruffles and it’s quickly become one of my favorite pieces to throw on in a pinch.
