After a really tough week after the election, so thankful to share some good news with you today: my sister-in-law had a baby this weekend and Phil and I are officially an uncle and aunt for the first time! Little Brayden Edward Galanty came into the world Saturday afternoon weighing 9 pounds, 6 ounces and he is 21 inches long. In looking at my nephew’s tiny face this weekend, we were thankful to be able to put everything into perspective and to experience a moment of pure happiness.
I love spicing up my wardrobe with bright colors so when I saw this dress at Target for just $25.00 this week, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it (and I highly recommend it!). I ended up dressing up this uber-affordable dress with these studded heels and I love how they ended up looking together. I topped off the look by draping my favorite leather jacket over my shoulders to add some extra edge.
Happy Monday, Everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine went really quickly–my family has been visiting from upstate New York and we snapped these photos while we were wine tasting at Malibu Family Wines. It was a very gray, rainy weekend here in Los Angeles but we decided to go out and explore to make the best of it.
I’ve always loved animal print but over the years, I’ve learned that less is definitely more. Today, I paired a button-down cheetah-printed shirt with a black mini skirt and heels. I tacked on some gold accessories and a winter hat. It took me years to be okay wearing winter hats in Los Angeles–especially since it never really falls below forty degrees. Seven years into my LA experience, I’ve decided if you can’t beat ’em, join em.
