I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Phil and I celebrated the holiday early over the weekend because we knew he would be away on a business trip on the actual day. We were able to have a staycation at a hotel in Anaheim together where his parents were visiting for a conference. It was so nice to get out of LA for the weekend and to spend time together.
The holidays are finally so close, I can see the light! I don’t know about you but I feel like I’ve been going a million miles a minute since Thanksgiving. I’m counting down the days until I can finally breathe, slow down and relax with my hubby, family and friends. I’m so thankful for this time of year because it always reminds me what is most important in life and it’s the perfect time to restart, recharge and to create new goals.
My family has been visiting us in LA from upstate New York this week. In addition to spending quality time together, we’ve had a great time playing tourist in this fabulous city of ours. We’ve been running around for the past few days–traveling to Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice, Santa Barbara and Downtown LA (to name just a few places!). We snapped these photos outside of the beautiful Disney Concert Hall in DTLA yesterday. It was sprinkling outside and the mirrored building reflected off of the clouds so beautifully.
I’m excited to be a featured artist this weekend in a Downtown Los Angeles art show called “A Vagrancy Happening.” It will be a pop-up Art Gallery Extravaganza for the Award Winning LA-based theater company, ‘The Vagrancy.’
If you are LA-based and are looking for something fun to do Saturday night (and if you love wine and cheese bars), come and join us. I will be selling a huge collection of framed RELish By Arielle original fashion illustrations, as well as tons of original accessories. Entry is “pay what you can.” The event runs from 6pm-10pm.
