Topping off the week with a comfy casual look that I borrowed from Phil’s closet. When this Foo Fighters band tee shrunk just a tad in the dryer, Phil said that I could wear it. I have now “borrowed” it for a few weeks and it’s become one of my go to looks–especially on weekends. Since this tee was one of Phil’s favorites, it’s perfectly worn in and soft and I’ve already styled it in a number of different ways.
Happy Monday! Phil and I have been traveling so much over the past few months that this was our first weekend in a long time that we had a chance to stay put in LA. It was pretty amazing, especially because we also had the opportunity to attend Hulu’s “Seinfeld” pop-up apartment event on Melrose Ave.
Happy Thanksgiving! This year, I’m thankful for many things but especially the fact that I’ll be able to celebrate today with my extended family for the first time in years. This will also be the first time I get to spend the holiday on the east coast with my husband, Phil. The two of us have stayed in LA for the past few Thanksgivings but this time around, we’re excited that we were able to travel.
If you’ve been following along for a while, you’ll know that I love drawing fashion illustrations–especially of dresses. With every piece that I finish, I’ve always wished that I’d be able to take the project one step further–being able to construct my illustrations into garments I could actually wear. I was really excited to finally be able to do just that with today’s dress.
Happy November, Everyone! This year has flown by so quickly and I can’t believe the holidays are now right around the corner. For Halloween, I ended up dressing up as one of my favorite singers, Amy Winehouse (I posted a couple photos of my costume here!). Although Halloween is now officially over, I was still in the costume spirit today so I decided to style a throwback 1960’s look.
