I recently shared some BIG family news: we’re currently in escrow on our first house WITH A YARD! While buying a home with a yard may seem completely attainable throughout many parts of the country, it can feel impossible in LA. The housing market here is currently out of control and the prices are outrageous. I can’t believe we may soon be homeowners rather than townhouse owners (as we are now!).
If you’re in the market for a comfy, affordable, warm winter puffer jacket, this post is for you. Today, I’m reviewing a cute vegan leather puffer jacket you should know about. Naiya styled both of our outfits today and while she ALMOST matches, she actually nailed it with my look. Neutral central over here and I’m loving it!
This pregnancy is flying by and my bump is getting bigger by the day. As a second time mama to be, truth be told, I’m not paying as much attention to every pregnancy detail as I did when I was pregnant with Naiya. I don’t always know exactly how many weeks (days and hours) pregnant I am or what size vegetable this baby is as I did last pregnancy. Instead, this time around, it’s all about keeping up with Naiya, making sure I make it through every work day in one piece and everything in between! As overwhelmed as I’ve felt recently, one thing that makes me feel better is having fun styling the bump. I’ve noticed I feel so much better when I feel a bit put together each day. Sharing one of my favorite dresses of the moment that’s comfy for pregnancy and beyond (and it’s currently on sale!). I’m excited to also round up nine other summer dresses I’m eyeing that are bump-friendly even though they’re not maternity. Non-pregos, all of the below picks should work for you too!
Since my hubby and I met when I auditioned for his Los Angeles-based band, music will forever be a special part of our relationship. Whenever we go to concerts, we tend to geek out and by buy band tees. We have a special rule though: we never buy the same exact styles so that we won’t ever actually match (that’s apparently where we’ve decided to draw the geeky line!). When he bought me this Radio Head tee a few weeks ago, I was excited to add it to my collection and dress it both up and down.
I’m always a big fan of classic lace so when I came across this top, I couldn’t wait to style it for the holidays. Today, I paired it with a festive silver skirt and my wedding shoes (I love giving them as much love as possible).
