One year ago, Phil and I were on our babymoon in Japan. What a difference a year makes! Now, we’re dreaming of a day when we’ll be able to safely leave our homes, let alone travel. After all, COVID-19 has hit us all like a ton of bricks. Since I’ve been dreaming of traveling a lot recently, sharing some more unpublished photos with you today which we snapped in Kyoto’s beautiful Bamboo Forest (I recently shared more Japan shots here).
I don’t know about you but I absolutely dread grocery shopping. As a full-time working mom, I’m often racking my brain to figure out exactly when other moms find the time to shop, learn recipes and cook. None of these things are my forte but surely, these moms must have some sort of secret! Now that I have an almost one-and-a-half year old, I know it’s time for me to get this grocery shopping thing together (it took me long enough)! Thankfully, I think I’ve finally found a service to help me that I can’t get enough of. Excited to share more about this with you today because fellow mamas who can’t stand grocery shopping: hopefully this will have you covered too.
I can’t believe Naiya is 17-months and will be turning a year-and-a-half on the 30th. I keep blinking and months seem to be flashing right by. Naiya is growing like crazy and her little thigh rolls are starting to slim out (cue the ugly tears!) She’s a full-out toddler now and I find myself scrolling through her photos from a few months ago wondering where our baby went. Rounding up our outfits of the day today as well as a mom and baby update.
Phil and I recently took the plunge into international travel with Naiya. Thanks to some very helpful advice we learned beforehand as well as some experimentation on our own, our trip went so much smoother than we ever expected. Sharing some of our favorite photos from our recent trip to Prague as well as four ways we survived our 18+ hour travel days with our ever-moving toddler.
The holidays are finally so close, I can see the light! I don’t know about you but I feel like I’ve been going a million miles a minute since Thanksgiving. I’m counting down the days until I can finally breathe, slow down and relax with my hubby, family and friends. I’m so thankful for this time of year because it always reminds me what is most important in life and it’s the perfect time to restart, recharge and to create new goals.
