This fall, I’ve been on the hunt for denim that feels more current. After all, Gen Z declared this year that skinny jeans are dead and since I’m determined to be a “cool” mom for at least a little bit longer, I didn’t take this lightly! Since I’ve gone through two pregnancies over the past couple of years, denim trends have changed a lot! Back when I had Naiya, skinny jeans were very much in and by the time I had Sadie, straight leg and wide leg denim became more on-trend. The struggle? Finding cute pairs that ACTUALLY fit.
In my 20’s, my style was all about quantity over quality. It was about getting my hands on the trendiest pieces of the moment (and spoiler alert: they wouldn’t make it past one or two seasons!). In my 30’s, it’s all about saving up for quality, classic basics that will stand the test of time. Less is definitely more and I find it so much more chic. Styling a classic outfit with you today that I’ve been wearing on repeat because it’s so versatile. This white button down happens to be one of my ultimate favorite pieces in my closet and it’s so beautifully-made.
