For the first six months of Naiya’s life, we were both completely soy, dairy, nut and gluten free. We basically ate air. Looking back, sometimes I’m not even sure how we survived it! Naiya’s gut wasn’t fully formed yet and she had horrible food allergies and painful reflux. Since I was nursing her, I had to eliminate any potential allergens from my diet too (more about that here). Thankfully, Naiya has now grown out of her allergies we still try to eat as clean as possible. Naturally, we both fell in love with the most amazing soy, dairy, nut and gluten free probiotic pouches. The best part? These pouches don’t taste like air at all–they’re flavorful, delicious and Naiya can’t stop gobbling them up! Sharing a bit more about these pouches below as well as where to snag the cutest pom pom skirt for your mini.
Powering up for the rest of the week by cuddling my O.G. fluff baby, Winston and sipping some delicious tea before the day gets too crazy. Let’s face it: this pup needed some extra attention on le blog because Naiya has definitely been stealing his spotlight since she’s been born! Dog mama’s: once you had babies, did you feel tons of guilt about not being able to cuddle with your pup as much? If so, I’m right there with you! Today, I’m sharing a couple of ways I’ve been detoxing over the past couple of weeks. I was feeling like I was dragging after the holidays so part of my new year’s resolution was to try a couple of detoxes I’ve never tried before. From the most amazing juice cleanse to a detox tea you need to know about, I’m rounding up all the things for you below.
I had the privilege of speaking on a panel for Syracuse University recently and it was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had in a long time. I was able to chat with college juniors and seniors studying out here in LA for the semester as they geared up to apply for their first jobs. If these kids are any indication of our future, I left feeling like will be in great hands. They’re smart, they’re positive thinkers and they want to make a difference. Since I haven’t shared too much about my work life outside of RELish with you here, this particular panel inspired me to open up a bit more about it. So without further ado, today, I’m sharing my favorite secrets on how to nail your first job in Hollywood. If you read this and you do end up making it, I ask only that you continue to pay it forward, that you always stay humble and most importantly, that you hire Naiya as your assistant someday.
Writing away from the rainiest Los Angeles I’ve seen in years! Before moving here from New York, I could never understand how anyone could complain about the rain. After all, most of the country gets hit with snow, sleet and freezing cold weather this time of year! But living here in SoCal and seeing the dangerous mudslides and crazy flooding, it all makes so much more sense. This place has no drainage! Today, I’m sharing an outfit we snuck in between all of the weather madness. Featuring the sweetest pink trench coat I can’t get enough of and a bunch of comfy basics I paired with it. Also, I’m sharing the same outfit in mini form for your baby or toddler. Naturally, a mini pink trench coat is now one of my favorite staples for Naiya and I found one that’s durable and affordable!
Our family had the best trip to Prague this past fall (more here) and because of crazy mom life, I’m only just now getting a chance to share a bit more about it. Better late than never, I’m so excited to share this post with you! First off, it’s so special to look back at these photos of Naiya because she’s already grown so much since this trip (I’m not crying, you’re crying!). Without further ado, I’m excited to round up the top 10 things to do with a toddler or baby in Prague. Let’s face it: traveling with kids 0-3 can be especially challenging! It’s my hope that the below tips will help you to enjoy this city to its fullest potential with your little ones in tow. Sharing outfit details below too. Enjoy!
