Last week, I finally had the chance to paint for the first time since Naiya was born. It was only for about an hour but I walked away feeling like I found a little piece of my pre-baby self again.  It made me realize just how much my life has chanced since becoming a mom and how much harder it’s been to give my creative passions as much attention as I’d like.  Between mom-ing hard, commuting to work and #girlbossing, I barely have enough time to breathe, let alone create. This has been driving me crazy!

Finding time for yourself when you’re a full-time working mom is so much harder than I ever could have imagined.  A few months into going back to work after maternity leave, I often feel like I’m running on fumes and a little too much caffeine.  I’ve realized that almost all my time at home and at the office feels like it’s devoted to others.  This is usually completely fine and doable–until every few weeks, it hits me.  

THE ONLY YOGA PANTS YOU’LL EVER NEED

Sharing one of my favorite pairs of leggings with you today that brought me from pre-pregnancy through to pregnancy, postpartum and beyond (without having to buy a different size!).  I first started wearing K-Deer haute yoga pants years ago when they were a new brand that had the perfect shorts and pants for hot yoga.  I quickly became a fan and previously posted about them here and here.  Since then, the company has continued to grow and they’ve added tons of new styles I can’t get enough of.  I love these pants so much that you can often find me wearing them not only to workout in but also around the clock.  Excited to share how I wear K-Deer yoga pants three different ways today.
