Lilac is having a major fashion moment this spring and millennial pink is stepping aside. From pants and tops to accessories and makeup, it’s all lilac everything. Naturally, I’ve been infusing my wardrobe with this fresh color and I’ve especially enjoyed color blocking with it. To nail the lilac look, scoop up a pair of high-waisted wide legged culottes (I’ve shared a few of my favorites below). Then go ahead and pair them with a lilac top. Even if the lilac hue is a slightly different on each piece, the overall look will be polished and on-trend.
If you’re looking to freshen up your shoe collection this fall, try adding a pair of classic mules with a modern twist. I’ve noticed these shoes popping up in stores across the board. From slip-on loafers with tassels to slip-on flats with oversized bows (my personal fave!), this season’s mules are too cute. Rounding up some of my favorites pairs of mules in case you’re in the market for a pair too.
Spring is in the air everywhere we look in Los Angeles. Every street is lines with the most beautiful flowers all in bloom and I can’t get enough. The purple jacaranda trees look like they’re right out of a fairytale and as I drive around in our typical crazy traffic, I’m thankful to at least be able to enjoy such a beautiful view. Today’s outfit is a nostalgic throwback to the ’90’s with a 2016 twist.
Fashion-wise, spring is my favorite season. I’m a huge fan of spring dresses, pastels and light, casual garments. I’ve been cleaning out my closet recently to prep for the change of season and noticed I’ve collected a few fashion staples that I’ve been able to transition over for all different seasons seamlessly. Below, I’m sharing my 5 favorite looks that will really amp up your wardrobe this spring and beyond.
I can’t believe how quickly the holidays are zooming by! I hope everyone is having such a wonderful time with family and friends. Phil and I are still in the Washington D.C. area taking in all of the sites as we gear up for my best friend’s wedding New Year’s Eve. Thankfully, D.C. is also Phil’s hometown so we’re having a great time running around and seeing all of his favorite places.
