Nursing is one of the most emotional, deeply personal, truly all-encompassing experiences I’ve ever gone through in my life. Since I’m coming to the end of my nursing journey with Sadie, it’s something I want to commemorate. That said, until recently, I didn’t know how to do so! Today, I’m sharing one of the most special gifts I’ve ever received as a nursing mama that has REALLY done the trick! Topping today’s post off with a special DISCOUNT CODE to this gift as as well so that you can try it out for yourself too.
My favorite way to dress up my everyday outfits is with dainty gold jewelry. Since finding high-quality jewelry that is still affordable isn’t always the easiest, rounding up some of my favorite pieces today. They are simple but definitely staples. Since I’ve received a number of messages asking where these pieces are from, sharing all of the details with you today.
Our amazing wedding photographer surprised me with one of the most thoughtful gifts a recent bride and new wife could ever ask for: a personalized gold locket with our favorite wedding photo on the outside and engagement photo on the inside. When I opened this necklace for the first time, it brought me right back to the happiest day of our lives and I couldn’t wait to wear it.
My outfit today was inspired by a book I read this weekend: Marie Kondo’s The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. It’s a quick read that teaches you how to organize, clean and simplify your life like never before and I definitely leaned in. I got so inspired that I decided to try the methods I learned out on my own closet and now there’s no turning back (my living room, kitchen and every closet in my house are next!).
Even though it’s been well over a month since our wedding, I feel like I’m only just starting to come up for air and it feels so good! Now that thank you cards and our post-wedding checklist are just about out of the way, I finally have time to sit back and relax with my husband. Finding our new normal is pretty amazing and weekends have never been more liberating; I almost forgot what free time even felt like.
