Over the past couple of years, I’ve noticed myself reaching for all the neutral basics in my closet on repeat (more here and here). I’ve found myself craving simplicity. I love the fact that I’m able to mix and match basic pieces so easily. They’re also so easy to dress up or down with accessories and I LOVE that they’re so perfect for ALL of the work zooms. Today, I’m rounding up my favorite basic tops that I’ve been living in this year which are all under $60.00 (clickable above). You can’t go wrong with these tops–they literally go with everything!
As much as I am loving LA’s beautiful summer weather, I already have my eye on tons of fun looks for Fall. I can’t wait to start layering up my wardrobe again once temperatures cool off a bit. Above, I’ve included some staple items I’m loving right now–from these Black Open Toe Booties which are a perfect transition piece to cooler weather to this Jumpsuit and these comfy Red Scarf.
I am really excited to partner up today with Arm The Animals, a company that creates graphic T-Shirts to raise awareness and generate funds for small, struggling animal rescues. Rescuing animals is a cause very close to my heart as both my fiance and I rescued our two dogs–Buddha and Winston–and we couldn’t imagine our lives without them. Arm the Animals helps to raise awareness about animal welfare and makes a difference by donating a generous portion of their sales to shelters. Today, I’m wearing an Arm The Animals cropped tank in black and I paired it with a comfy triangle skort last seen here. I added my favorite black booties by Rag and Bone because they add extra height without being uncomfortable. I topped off the look with mirrored sunnies.
I am always on a quest for light-weight, comfortable clothing to wear during the hot summer months in Los Angeles. Right now, Club Monaco has the perfect selection of exactly what I’m looking for. Above, I’ve curated some of my favorite looks from Club Monaco–all of which are inspired by pajamas. I am loving the simplicity of these looks–from the roomy fit of the pants and shorts to the classic piping on the button-down shirts. I already got my hands on these Black Patterned Pants and I pretty much live in them on the weekends. Everything else is on my wish list–and I’m especially loving the White Shirt, Patterned Shirt and Blue Blazer for work.
