Since many of us are still stuck in quarantine and dreaming of travel post COVID, we could all use a little digital getaway. Sharing some of our favorite snapshots from our babymoon in Kyoto, Japan exactly one year ago at the beautiful Yasaka Pagota in the Higashiyama District. The architecture throughout this city is so serene and relaxing, I can’t wait to go back someday (more here and here). We stayed right at the base of this incredible Pagota and waking up to this view was so memorable. In addition to these photos, sharing a basic comfy outfit for prego mamas who will someday be on the go again some day below.
My fiance and I spent the holidays celebrating with both of our families–his family came out to visit us in Los Angeles and afterward, we traveled east to upstate New York to visit my family. There, we visited one of my favorite towns which is famous for its horse races–Saratoga, New York. We tried to show Phil around on foot but it was so cold! It was only 15 degrees outside when we took these pictures.
My fiance and I took a weekend trip to Hearst Castle this weekend and I’m so happy we did. Hearst Castle was William Randolph Hearst’s private estate and it’s located in central California–about 3.5 hours outside of Los Angeles. The estate was decorated for the holidays and it was so beautiful; it really felt like we went abroad for the weekend.
