Happy Valentine’s Day, Everyone! So excited to celebrate with the fam today–especially because Naiya is finally old enough to enjoy it (for at least a few minutes)! Since I’m working today and Naiya will need to go down for the night right when I get home from work (#thestruggleisreal), I planned a special “Galentines Day” celebration for her and I over the weekend. This past Sunday, spent a couple of hours relaxing in bed (in between running around to chase her). It’s been raining like crazy here in LA so it was the perfect cozy day to stay inside and cuddle. Excited to share some of our favorite photos from the day–all of which were inspired by Life Magazine and Old Hollywood. I’m also rounding three Valentine’s Day sales happening today that you should know about.
Writing away from the rainiest Los Angeles I’ve seen in years! Before moving here from New York, I could never understand how anyone could complain about the rain. After all, most of the country gets hit with snow, sleet and freezing cold weather this time of year! But living here in SoCal and seeing the dangerous mudslides and crazy flooding, it all makes so much more sense. This place has no drainage! Today, I’m sharing an outfit we snuck in between all of the weather madness. Featuring the sweetest pink trench coat I can’t get enough of and a bunch of comfy basics I paired with it. Also, I’m sharing the same outfit in mini form for your baby or toddler. Naturally, a mini pink trench coat is now one of my favorite staples for Naiya and I found one that’s durable and affordable!
Our family had the best trip to Prague this past fall (more here) and because of crazy mom life, I’m only just now getting a chance to share a bit more about it. Better late than never, I’m so excited to share this post with you! First off, it’s so special to look back at these photos of Naiya because she’s already grown so much since this trip (I’m not crying, you’re crying!). Without further ado, I’m excited to round up the top 10 things to do with a toddler or baby in Prague. Let’s face it: traveling with kids 0-3 can be especially challenging! It’s my hope that the below tips will help you to enjoy this city to its fullest potential with your little ones in tow. Sharing outfit details below too. Enjoy!
Since I’m only 5’4 on a good day, I’m always on the hunt for comfy heels that will give me some extra height. In my 20’s I used to rock the highest heels no matter how uncomfortable they were but now that I’m a mama, it’s all about keeping my feet happy (and making sure I can run around after Naiya without breaking my neck!). I’m so excited to team up with one of my favorite brands, Everlane today to share the most comfortable low-heeled booties you need to know about. Not only are they perfect for chasing your kids–they’re also so timeless, you’ll still look chic.
Writing from Reno-Tahoe where I’m spending a couple days away with my hubby. It’s only my second time away from Naiya since she was born and it was so hard to leave her! Phil convinced me to come with him on this business trip so that we could get a little time away together. In the end, I’m so happy he convinced me! Missing Naiya like crazy but it’s so refreshing to have a quick breather outside of Los Angeles (and to practice not being a #stagefiveclinger. We snapped these photos right before we left of Naiya in the cutest tutu dress and me in one of my favorite scarf dresses. Sharing our outfit details below as well as a few similar looks I’m eyeing at all different price points.
