Three more sleeps until 2021 and I’m still stuck somewhere in May of 2020. Anybody else?! This year was bizarre, uncertain and somehow, the fastest I’ve ever experienced. While we can’t go out safely this year to celebrate, New Year’s glam does not have to be canceled! We can still get dressed up to ring in the New Year in style. Sharing New Years Eve outfit inspo with you today–from comfy sparkly pieces to dresses I’m loving. All of these pieces can be styled in chic ways for the rest of 2021 too.
2020 brought us many unexpected circumstances–including the unfortunate gift of “maskne.” Maskne is skin irritation and breakouts brought on by the friction of your mask rubbing against your skin and trapping moisture. Thankfully, my maskne hasn’t been TOO bad overall but the more I wear a mask, the more I’ve noticed small pimples popping up around my chin. For anyone else who may be in the same boat, I’m rounding up ten masks at different price points that are helping to keep my skin as clear and healthy as possible. After all, not all mask materials are created equally!
Last weekend, I took Naiya on a special date to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Since it’s the first year she is completely enamored by the holidays, I wanted her to see the beautiful holiday lights and decor. As I recently shared here, we haven’t left our little bubble in what seems like forever so an hour or so out felt like a mini vacation. After all, it’s the little things in 2020 that make us light up; what a year it’s been!
We have two VERY different eaters in our house. Naiya is the PICKIEST eater ever and Sadie eats EVERYTHING. Thankful to have found a company that makes fresh baby and toddler foods that BOTH of our girls love. If you’re in the market for fresh, yummy, healthy food for your baby or toddler too, look no further than Little Spoon. Sharing a review of this amazing brand with you today. The best part? It’s delivered right to your door, ready to eat. Topping today’s post off with a discount code for 30% off your first order with Little Spoon too. Enjoy!
2020 may be one of the craziest years ever but the holidays don’t have to FEEL canceled! Naiya and I masked up and took our first mother/daughter date out this past weekend in MONTHS to celebrate making it to the end of 2020. Thanks to ALL the work zooms, I’ve BARELY left the house this year. Needless to say, this adventure felt like a safe mini vacation in the best way! Sharing photos from our (socially distanced) girls day out to the Westfield Century City mall. Rounding up all of the fun holiday things we did there and ideas for safe holiday festivities for you and your fam.
