It’s no secret that I have big hair–I’ve had it my whole life. I even earned the nickname “short puff” back in middle school when I used to wear my curls in a giant poof on top of my head because I did not yet know how to properly tame them. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to appreciate my curls so much more (thanks to hair products that keep the curls in check!). I love that curly girls are able to get the best of both worlds: we can wear our #bighairdontcare loud and proud and we can also switch it up to get blow-outs that leave us with silkier locks (which often have lots of volume!).
I’m always on a quest for styling tools that help me to keep my hair healthy and looking as good as possible so naturally, I’ve fallen completely in love with a line of products that does just that.
I’ve been a big fan of Paul Mitchell products for a while but my favorite items of the moment are from their neon line. I’m loving the neon straightener and hairdryer–hands-down the best tools I’ve had in a very long time. The hairdryer is so powerful and I love that you can control the temperature and power to-a-tee. It also dries my hair so quickly! The straighter leaves my hair silky smooth and I love that it doesn’t burn the ends. I’m also loving neon hair products like this sugar rinse, a conditioner and detangler.
Another big plus of this line–especially as a new mama–is that it promotes anti-bullying. The designs on this line all follow this message #stickittobullying and I love how cute and colorful they are.
Phil and I are currently en route to the east coast for our first flight with Naiya for Thanksgiving! I’m pretty sure we overpacked (packing for an infant for winter is so much harder than I originally thought!) and I’m so nervous that she will cry the whole flight but here goes nothing! Excited to report back when we get there and I look forward to sharing any tips and tricks we learn along the way!
