I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Excited to be back on the west coast after a quick holiday trip to upstate New York to visit family. Sharing travel outfit inspiration today using basic pieces that can be mixed-and-matched to create three different looks (without taking up too much room in your suitcase!).
Look #1: I scooped up this long sleeveless blazer (similar here) at Zara earlier this year and it’s since become one of the most versatile basic pieces in my closet. Today, I started out by layering it over a simple pair of black pants and v-neck sweater. From there, I accessorized with a skinny western belt and my favorite pair of studded heels.
Look #2: Colorful faux fur scarfs are trending this winter because they add an extra statement to any outfit but they also keep you nice and warm. Naturally, when I found the baby pink one below (similar here), I had to add it to my wardrobe this season. In adding this scarf to Look #1, you can completely transform your look from day at the office to night out with the addition of one extra statement piece.
Look #3: Wear just the black v-neck sweater and skinny jeans and your faux fur scarf. In removing the white sleeveless blazer, you create a whole new look that is again great for a night out. Top off this look with a cute clutch like the lace one I’m wearing below (similar here) .
