It’s been such a busy few weeks since Phil and I came back to LA after the holidays and I can’t believe it’s almost February! I’ve been busy prepping for the launch of a really exciting project that I can’t wait to share with you very soon. In the meantime, I wanted to round up some of my favorite outfit and lifestyle photos that I’ve taken over the past week or so on Instagram.  My family was visiting us in LA so Phil and I had a lot of fun playing tourists in our own city and finding some new gems along the way. We took my Dad to Malibu Farm for his birthday lunch. The cute little white building in the first photo above was taken at the entrance to the restaurant. It sits on a beautiful dock that leads out into the ocean.  It quickly became one of my favorite spots in LA because the view is amazing and the food is so healthy and delicious.  It’s the perfect place to bring out of town guests and it’s also a great escape for locals.

We also visited the Ellwood Butterfly Bluffs just outside of Santa Barabara for the first time. I had never heard of this park but I’m so happy we found it because it’s pretty amazing. You basically walk through a beautiful, peaceful forest where hundreds of butterflies are flying all around you. When you make it through to the end of the forest, you walk over to some bluffs overlooking the ocean.  There’s nothing around you but the ocean, the bluffs and the sky and the view is absolutely incredible.

Looking out at the beautiful modern homes that align the Pacific Coast Highway is a view that will never get old for me. I’m always so inspired by the peacefulness of the ocean, as well as the bold, bright colors in all of the architecture.  Looking out at the ocean always makes me wonder why I don’t brave the LA traffic more to see it. We’re so lucky to have it in our backyard.

The above photo was taken in Marina Del Rey where I was all bundled up last week looking out at the water. I have been completely obsessed with oversized plaid scarfs so far this year and this one doubled as a blanket.

I love hiking and LA’s Runyon Canyon is one of my favorite spots to go to escape.  It’s so beautiful and relaxing–especially on weekdays when it’s a bit quieter. Our pups love it too.

Last weekend, Phil and I attended a birthday party in a 1930’s Beverly Hills home.  We loved the old hollywood red carpet and this vintage built-in mirror.  We didn’t set out to have our outfits match but we both wore black on black on black.

I’m completely obsessed with this lace dress by MSGM and I couldn’t wait to wear it again this week for a meeting for the first time since my Bridal Shower.  I paired with my favorite leather jacket and studded pumps
