Boho Dress (17 of 24)

I can’t believe how quickly the holidays are zooming by! I hope everyone is having such a wonderful time with family and friends.  Phil and I are still in the Washington D.C. area taking in all of the sites as we gear up for my best friend’s wedding New Year’s Eve. Thankfully, D.C. is also Phil’s hometown so we’re having a great time running around and seeing all of his favorite places.

The weather has been so schizophrenic here lately! It’s been in the 70’s some days and then it’s also dropped down into the low-40’s with tons of rain.  Likewise, outfit-wise, it’s been a total guessing game in terms of what to wear–especially since we’ve been walking around so much.  We shot today’s look before we left LA but I’ve been wearing variations of this boho dress from Zara on repeat all week here. To make the look weather-appropriate, I’ve been adding on a bunch of different layering pieces as it’s gotten colder–from tights to coats and scarves.

I accessorized with over-the-knee boots because they keep my legs warm, they’re comfy and they also make me look taller–which is obviously a win-win! (I reviewed a few different OTK pairs at different price points here). I also added my favorite Zara tote bag of the moment which I highly recommend.  It’s super roomy, great for the office and at only $39.99, it not only looks great–it’s also really durable.
