Happy Monday! Phil and I have been traveling so much over the past few months that this was our first weekend in a long time that we had a chance to stay put in LA. It was pretty amazing, especially because we also had the opportunity to attend Hulu’s “Seinfeld” pop-up apartment event on Melrose Ave.
We’re both huge fans of the sitcom (we literally watch it every night before bed) so naturally, we had to attend this event to have the chance to walk through Jerry’s Seinfeld’s apartment (and to bust out a few Elaine moves–she’s my spirit animal). Hulu recreated the apartment’s kitchen, living room, bathroom, etc. I posted some photos on my Instagram.
Fashion-wise, this weekend was all about layering. It’s been really chilly in LA recently–especially at night–so this long sleeved blouse was perfect beneath my favorite jean jacket during the day. At night, I threw on some more layers. I love the bow in the front of this blouse and its simple floral pattern. I paired it with my favorite black suede skirt of the moment and added both an oversized tote and over-the-knee boots.
I’ve been a huge fan of OTK boots throughout the winter so far and I’ve had my eye on them in a number of colors–from brown to taupe. They look great with sweater dresses, skirts and pants alike and I love that they can really elongate your legs (especially if you’re petite like me!). Although my favorite black OTK boots by Stuart Weitzman cost almost $800, these black OTK books that look very similar cost about $150.00.
