Phil and I just got back from a long Thanksgiving weekend in New York visiting family. I haven’t been able to spend the holiday on the east coast for six years and it was so amazing to finally see everyone. We spent time walking around Central Park, 5th Avenue, in SOHO, and in many other areas taking in the holiday season in one of our favorite cities in the world. I’ve rounded up an Instagram photo montage of our trip to share with you today.
We walked around Brooklyn’s Park Slope area. It was so beautiful and peaceful to look back at the city from the other side of the Hudson river.
Phil and I had so much fun looking at the holiday window displays on 5th Avenue! The above display was from Bergdorffs. I love all of the blue colors–especially the clutch on the far right and of course the studded Louboutins.
I can’t get enough of these over-the-knee “Lowland” boots by Stuart Weitzman. I tried them on during our trip and I want them in every color. I also love the high heeled version, the “Highland” boots. They come with an expensive price tag but the leather is so luxurious, the fit is so perfect and these boots just keep calling my name. They’re now permanent fixtures on my wish list!
