Happy Thanksgiving! This year, I’m thankful for many things but especially the fact that I’ll be able to celebrate today with my extended family for the first time in years. This will also be the first time I get to spend the holiday on the east coast with my husband, Phil. The two of us have stayed in LA for the past few Thanksgivings but this time around, we’re excited that we were able to travel.
The two of us flew out to New York City yesterday and today, we’re en route upstate to my Grandparents house. Outfit-wise, I brought a bunch of layers on this trip because you never know what the weather will be like this time of year. Per usual, I totally overpacked but thankfully, all of the extra clothes will definitely keep me warm!
I styled this Thanksgiving look before we left LA. I’m absolutely loving the emerald green accordion midi skirt I picked up recently at Zara and I look forward to wearing it throughout the holiday season. Today, I paired it with a leather jacket to give it some extra edge but it also looks really beautiful with a sweater or blazer. I’m also loving my new black tote I scored at Zara for under $40.00. The bag is such a steal and it’s the perfect size for the office (it fits my laptop perfectly!). I topped off the look with nude pumps to offset all of the black on black action.
