fall fashion inspiration

Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons–especially in LA.  The crazy hot summer temperatures here tend to drop a bit and I love breaking out some fall-inspired layers.  This year, I look forward to refreshing my wardrobe with fun staple pieces that will also be able to transition into winter.  Above, I’ve put together some of my favorite looks I’ve been eyeing for inspiration–from shoes to bags and everything in between.

I’m currently loving boots and booties covered in luxurious suede leather and I especially love the above pair with an open toe because it’s so fun and versatile.  I also can’t get enough of the periwinkle leather jacket above because the color is so unique and bright.  I invested in a couple of more neutral-colored leather jackets a few seasons back and they’ve become such wonderful statements in my wardrobe.  A bright one like this would be such a fun addition to my wardrobe (not to mention how great it would look with the above scarf tied around the neck!).

I’m also loving the 70’s throwback trend right now–including the reemergence of the flared jean. The pair above has a really great fit and is flattering on so many different body types.
