I love the fall season for many reasons–from the beautiful changing leaves that I grew up with in upstate New York, to pumpkin-flavored lattes–but most importantly, to fashion. The past few weeks, I’ve been following fashion week runways all over the world. This week, I am living vicariously through photos of Paris Fashion Week–especially because I was there last year during this time and I feel like it was just yesterday. This week, when Smartling.com asked me to dream of what I would do if I had the opportunity to have one night abroad, I started fantasizing about being in Paris.
There are so many places in the world I dream of traveling to but this week, Paris would be my true dream because it’s the fashion capitol of the world (especially this week) and it’s the home of haute couture–aka my creative inspiration.
Throughout the day before my perfect night abroad, I would visit all of the fashion shows I possibly could. At night, I would walk all around Paris with my fiance. We’d visit the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Lourve and every other place you just can’t miss when you’re in Pairs. We would eat tons of delicious French goodies–from crepes to macarons and croissants (not to mention a real French dinner too–fondue and wine included). Since neither of us are so lucky as to have learned French fluently, we would use an App like Smartling if we needed help with menu translations or if there were any other language barriers. Whenever we travel, we try our best to respect every new culture and learn from it and we never like to make ourselves stick out if we do not know the language.
My outfit above is what I would dream of wearing for my perfect night abroad during Paris Fashion Week. I love the matching top and skirt because it can transition so well from day to night and it’s also made out of sweatshirt material so it’s warm and comfy for fall. I added my new favorite 360 Pearl Earrings from Baublebar that look almost identical to these Dior Tribal Earrings I’ve also have my eye on (except that they are only around $20!).

I paired a nude heel with the look and topped it off with a pop of color in my purse. And last but not least: Paris, here I come–sometime soon!
