I had the pleasure of hosting an event for M Dot Design Studio, a Los Angeles-based cut-and-sew boutique full of original one-of-a-kind garments and very unique accessories–from Robyn Rhodes and Earthling jewelry to Costella Handbags. I especially love that all of these lines are made in America. M Dot Design Studio is headed up by designer Michelle Aquino, and she is about to take her Studio on the road–touring the country with W Hotels. I was lucky enough to sell my original fashion illustrations and watercolors at the event and I had a blast. It was so incredible to work with other entrepreneurs like the adorable Spoon Me Sweetly family who create beautiful, delicious handmade sweets.
It was also really humbling to see all of my designs displayed in the beautiful studio together. I painted two special original pieces for M Dot–the fashion paintings in blue and in pink above (both of which you can pin-point because the designs both have long sleeves). These two looks were painted straight from M Dot’s original garments and it was such a fun collaboration. All of above paintings will soon be available to purchase in my RELish By Arielle online store–I cannot wait to post them. Stay tuned!
