Happy Monday, Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had such a great time with my sister, Adena, while she was visiting me here in Los Angeles this past week. The two of us spent a lot of quality time together and we were also able to hang out with our brother, Jordan. Jordan makes a couple of quick cameos above. Can you see the family resemblance?
As for today’s outfit post, my sister Adena and I are completely enamored with Chanel. As an artist, Coco Chanel has inspired me for as long as I can remember because she was such a strong woman who thought outside the box. I love that she helped pave the way for women in fashion by breaking boundaries. It’s mesmerizing to me that Chanel’s designs are so timeless, they never seem to go out of style. Likewise, I can’t help but want every piece I see. Of course the price-point is very high but #agirlcandream. When many people think of Chanel, they think of tweed blazers and uber-high-fashion outfits. Instead, my sister and I decided to add some edge to our Chanel-inspired outfits today and the above looks are what we came up with. I love seeing our two takes on the same look side by side. Adena’s look is so comfy and boho while mine is great for the office or for a night out. I’m currently completely obsessed with midi ballerina skirts and the white one I’m wearing above was such a great find. I love how light and comfortable it is but that it also dresses up any outfit and adds an extra splash of drama.
