Style-wise, I usually gravitate towards dressing up, but today I knew I had to run around town and what better way to do so than in comfy sneakers? As an avid runner and workout-aholic, I love a great pair of sneakers.  My Nike Free 5.0’s are my go-to sneaker when I am looking for comfort without the crazy colors most sneakers are made in (those are of course great for the gym).  These Nike Frees are definitely not the best shoes to run a half marathon in but they are fantastic for doing errands or for walking around when you’re on vacation.

I lived in my Nike Free’s when I recently traveled to Europe and walked around the entire day.  By the end of each day, I did not feel the strain of the cobblestone streets on my feet, which was a great relief for sure.  Today, I paired my sneakers with black pieces–a Sparkle and Fade Blazer that has proved to be a  great staple item in my closet, a simple James Perse Black Tank and then some other cozy accessories–a Sperry Infinity Knit Scarf and Nasty Gal Beanie.  Even though it’s warm enough to wear shorts almost year-round in LA, sometimes I still need some extra pieces to warm me up in case I forget it’s not quite summer just yet.
