I hope everyone had such a wonderful Christmas! After many weeks of planning for the big day, it went by so quickly and was such a blur! I didn’t grow up celebrating Christmas so the holiday always feels so new to me and truth-be-told, a bit overwhelming! In the end, Naiya had a blast ripping open her gifts and afterwards, we had a great time relaxing with family. We can’t believe that New Year’s Eve is just around the corner! Sharing outfit details for one of my all-time favorite New Year’s Eve dresses below, as well some others I’ve had my eye on for all different types of NYE celebrations.
Happy 2018! I hope everyone had such a wonderful New Year’s! If you splurged on something sparkly or metallic to wear this NYE but now you’re not sure how to wear it again throughout the year, this post is for you. Today I’m sharing how to re-style your New Year’s Eve look to make it versatile and work-appropriate for all of 2018 and beyond.
This is one of the first New Year’s Phil and I will not be spending on the east coast. His sister had her first baby this year (he’s so cute!) so his whole family flew out here in Los Angeles to celebrate. While I’m sad that we don’t get to celebrate the holidays at home, one of the pluses to staying out in Los Angeles is that I can wear almost anything I want to for New Year’s Eve without having to think about bundling up as I usually do. When I saw this light-weight, comfy gold jumpsuit, I couldn’t wait to wear it for the occasion.
I can’t believe it’s almost New Year’s–where has the time gone? Phil and I have been running around D.C. trying to see as many friends, family members and sites as possible. Posting this quick sketch today as we gear up for my best friend’s wedding weekend–which starts tonight.
