4 WAYS WE SURVIVED INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL WITH OUR TODDLER

Phil and I recently took the plunge into international travel with Naiya.  Thanks to some very helpful advice we learned beforehand as well as some experimentation on our own, our trip went so much smoother than we ever expected.  Sharing some of our favorite photos from our recent trip to Prague as well as four ways we survived our 18+ hour travel days with our ever-moving toddler.

WINTER FLORALS + OTK BOOTS

The holidays are finally so close, I can see the light! I don’t know about you but I feel like I’ve been going a million miles a minute since Thanksgiving. I’m counting down the days until I can finally breathe, slow down and relax with my hubby, family and friends. I’m so thankful for this time of year because it always reminds me what is most important in life and it’s the perfect time to restart, recharge and to create new goals.

SUMMER NEUTRALS

Phil and I are continuing to drive around Iceland’s ring road–the main road that creates a giant loop around the whole country. Each day of our trip has been so completely packed with hikes and sight seeing, the past week has completely sped by.  We can’t believe it’s almost time to fly back to LA but we could not be more thankful to have had this experience.

5 STEPS TO PERFECT CURLS

Since I can remember, I have completely idolized straight hair.  This, of course, has always been a big problem because I was born with curls upon curls (and frizz upon frizz!). My first memories trying to do my own hair include brushing out my curls, slicking them back with loads of gel, heavy duty hairspray and everything in between.  I was constantly trying to tame my hair to look like everybody else’s. By middle school, I was frying my curls with straightening irons and by high school, while I got closer to embracing my natural curls, I could never find the perfect hair products that would keep my curls intact all day long. And then I found Ouidad.
