How is this the last day of 2019? 2018 flew by quicker than any year I can remember. I started 2018 as an anxious new mama cradling a tiny four month old baby wondering how I’d ever go back to work. Now I have a walking, spunky 16 month old and I’ve found my new normal (usually!)! Excited to take a look back at 2018 below with our favorite outfits and an ever-growing Naiya.
When I first saw this sparkly red midi skirt, it truly was love at first sight! Truth be told, I’ve been bingeing the Amazon series, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” like crazy and I couldn’t wait to style this skirt as a sort of throwback look inspired by Mrs. Maisel’s wardrobe. With the holidays only one week away, we all need a little extra sparkle. Sharing where to score this little number and a few different ways I’ve been wearing it as well. Enjoy!
The countdown to the end of 2017 is officially on! To celebrate, I’ve rounded up some amazing sales going on that you can’t miss! From Bloomingdales to Madewell and everything in between, if you’re a #girlboss who didn’t get something on your holiday wish list this past week, chances are it’s on sale now! If you can’t stop thinking about it, if the price is right and if it’s going to help you step into 2018 like ‘I’ve got this,’ I say go for it.
I hope everyone is having such great holidays so far! Gearing up for the New Year, I’m wearing holiday velvet today. It’s sometimes hard to feel festive in Los Angeles during the holidays because it’s so warm out but I love adding small hints of the holidays into my wardrobe wherever I can. Sharing how to infuse velvet into your wardrobe today too so you can rock it.
Merry Christmas and happy belated Hanukkah! Celebrating today in a holiday dress with the cutest pearl collar and a pop of pink faux fur. Phil and I are celebrating away today with family at our new home in Los Angeles. We feel so fortunate to be able to host Phil’s family and have enough room for them to stay this year for the first time! So much has changed since last December! At the time, we were living in a glorified one bedroom apartment and now we are homeowners and parents of an almost four month old! Sometimes I have to pinch myself because it all seems so surreal.
