THANKYOUX DENIM JACKET

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Phil and I celebrated the holiday early over the weekend because we knew he would be away on a business trip on the actual day. We were able to have a staycation at a hotel in Anaheim together where his parents were visiting for a conference. It was so nice to get out of LA for the weekend and to spend time together.

Outfit-wise, I can’t get enough of this denim jacket right now. My talented artist friend, Thankyoux, hand painted the back of it for me and now I want to pair it with everything. He has created the most beautiful street art around Los Angeles, New York, London and Hong Kong and most recently, he’s been partnering with brands like Samsung to create original collaborations. He also painted some similar amazing denim jackets for the Chain Smokers and I am completely obsessed.

Today, I paired this work of art with some black skinny jeans, a crisp white button-down, white asics (my favorite sneakers of the moment), black sunnies and a simple black backpack (similar here) This outfit was perfect for running around DTLA.
