Happy Monday, Everyone! This weekend, I was out and about again looking to nail the perfect wedding dress. I only have a few weeks left to make my final decision so the pressure is definitely on. I actually may have found “the one” on Saturday but I keep wavering back and forth on it! I can’t believe how difficult the wedding dress search is and I’m surprised to see how indecisive I am.
There are so many different types of wedding gowns to choose from–especially in Los Angeles. To narrow down the search, I’ve learned that it’s important to keep in mind the shape that best flatters you (trumpet, mermaid, fit-and-flare, etc), and I’ve learned to start sticking to gowns that speak to the type of bride you want to be (bohemian, vintage, classic, etc).
Fashion-wise for my wedding dress hunt, I wore heels so that I could pair them with my gowns for some extra height. I’m completely obsessed with these Alice + Olivia gold heels (similar here) and they were actually really comfortable to wear all day. I paired a bright red top with comfy black linen shorts and I added another pop of color with my “something blue” purse.
